Michael J. Nelson, PhD serves as the Medical Director of the Center for Youth and College Education at Cleveland Clinic and Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of CWRU. Combining his background as a former high school teacher with expertise in educational technology and instructional design, Dr. Nelson leads career pipeline initiatives that introduce K–12 and college students to high-demand health science pathways. An active partner to Ohio educators and a member of numerous advisory boards, his work centers on authentic career exploration models, interactive digital learning tools, and school-industry collaboration that prepares the next generation of healthcare professionals.
