Jennifer Blackstone
Assistant Superintendent · Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools
My teaching career began at Reynoldsburg City Schools for two years, and then I worked in the Arizona school system for eleven years. It is in Arizona that my professional career blossomed. I taught middle school Language Arts at the Glendale Elementary School District and then accepted my first administration position in the district’s alternative school, Blueprint Education. I filled many roles at Blueprint Education including, Principal of Hope High School in South Phoenix, Principal of Blueprint High School in Chandler, Assistant Superintendent of Distance Learning, and Director of Curriculum. I completed a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in December of 2004 and a second Masters in Educational Leadership in the spring of 2011. I most recently completed the Superintendent Licensure Program at The Ohio State University. I currently serve as the Assistant Superintendent at Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools. What I enjoy most about my current position is having conversations with our 16 associate schools districts in order to offer Career Technical Education programming that could have a positive, life-changing, impact on thousands of students in Franklin, Fairfield, and Pickaway counties.
